Housing Grants for Military Families

Housing grants of up to $8,000.00 are available through the Soldier Next Door Program. ALL active duty and former military personnel and their families are eligible.  Subject to availability, you will receive a minimum of $1,000.00 NON-repayable GRANT to be used toward the purchase of a home.  In addition to the grant, you may also be eligible for down payment assistance of up to $10,681.00. Your Soldier Next Door Program Specialist may also review your eligibility for any state specific government housing grants, if available in your state, and how they may be used in addition to your Soldier Next Door benefits.
